Ioan Nemtoi is a Romanian glass artist born in 1964. He graduated in 1991 from the Art Academy in Bucharest with a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics, Glass and China. Initially he wanted to study sculpture, but since the class was full he chose the glass department. He is well known for his use of color and transparency and shaping archetypal and unconventional forms.
